Corpse Flower ‘Sprout’ is Blooming Now!

Note: as of 4/28/16, Sprout has ended his bloom cycle. The webcam below is no longer a live feed but a video of his final four hours. It’s still something to watch in case you missed it live. It’s blooming!

The corpse flower “Sprout” has begun its bloom cycle at the Chicago Botanic Garden (CBG)! If you’re in the Chicago area, you can visit CBG. They will remain open until 2 am, and the last entry is 1 am. Remember to take selfies with #CBGSprout (no tripods). Not in the Chicago area? No worries! Sprout is on this live webcam (below) 24/7. You will actually have the best view in the Garden (not to mention you won’t have to deal with the smell, either).

Remember, this flower will only be in bloom for 24-36 hours.
